Our Community should leave no children behind. We've learned that some children in our community cannot afford to even have a pair of ice skates.
You can help us help them!
We've set up a bank account at the North Peace Savings & Credit Union for financial donations to help buy skates and hockey/figure skating equipment for our kids. Tell them that your donation is for the "No Kids left behind" account. The Minor Hockey Association will issue a charitable tax receipt if you choose to donate! If you donate financially, please let us know what you would like done with the donation ie..registration, equipment, or sponsor of a child.
Here's some of what we need:
Skates sizes 7,6,4, and 2.
We need full equipment for ages 7, 9, 13 & 14 years.
You may call Doug Roper at 250-775-1446 or Ken Johnson at 250-500-2579 if you need more information, or if you would like to donate sports equipment to this great cause.
