For those that are not working through the long weekend, what you planning on doing?

I'm going to finish putting some insulation under the floor of my master bedroom and winterizing the house. (exciting yes?)

That's about as wacky as my weekend will get....please share if you have some great family, camping, party plans or whatever yea?

In the maritimes, they'll be watching a terrific rain and wind storm...

Maybe I'll smoke some jerky. And that pretty much came out exactly as I intended!

I hope he does, and brings me another sample. I just ordered the same smoker he has online for my Birthday. can't wait till it gets here.

Fall cleaning this weekend. Get rid of the summer dust before winter comes.

Its' my birthday tomorrow =) so if the man isnt working hopefully we'll get to go out for dinner and maybe have some cake.. (pregger craving with a good excuse lol!) Then finish the last of our unpacking, really not much left to do, pretty proud of myself for getting it done in under two weeks of being up here!

My lovely wife of 28 years doesn't know it yet, but weather permitting, I'm taking her for a nice airplane ride so she can really get a view of how beautiful the area is. After that, I'm making dinner for her. It's our 28th anniversary this Sunday and she's the best.

I was gonna ride and ride and ride...until I crashed, but now it is raining, so I guess I'll paint the ceiling.
