Do the stores up here carry halloween costumes closer to halloween? I ask now cause it would be this week I'd be going to get their costumes if I were in the lower mainland before it all gets picked over.

They will be out soon, the only problem I have found is finding one that my kids like and in their size. Keep an eye out and get there quick. Northern, Fields, the Drug Store or the Bargain Shop.
I have been ordering costumes for mine from Sears, and will do so again, so you could always try that route.

Hahaha good luck with that! Fort Nelson does not have a good selection of Halloween costumes, if any. I suggest shopping online, you can get some great costumes for not bad prices!

MissMom, I was actually in the Northern 2 days ago and they already have their Halloween things out.. that would be a good place to try since not to many people realize they have it out yet..

I never buy mine here..I have found they are very cheap and cost a lot. I know its just a costume but if I am going to pay a pretty penny for it I would like it to last more than one wearing. Old Navy had some really cute ones on there and they now ship in Canada. We usually end up getting the type that are a full one piece with the head that flips up.. They seem to work the best over the winter gear :)

about 40 yrs ago me n some of my buddies would get about 1/2 dozen of the cheap masks each with elastic band to hold them on around head,pirate=clown-etc.
We would hit the houses givin the good stuff hard,i remember a couple older guys saying"haven't you already been here"---'no sir" ;-)--boo-

For the ladies I think just buying a blue party dress and then get some of those cheap plastic horns and a pitchfork and go as "devil with a blue dress on"
Dudes can just tape a sugar cube to their foreheads and go as "sweet fu*k all"

This reminds of a premature ejaculation joke.
A man was having problems with premature ejaculation,
so he went to see his doctor.
The doctor suggested that the man could solve his
problem by startling himself whenever he thought that
he was going to ejaculate.
So, the man went directly to a sporting goods store
and bought a starter pistol. Then he went home to try
the doctor's advice.

Ugh! I've always bought the kids halloween costumes at old navy or children's place and we don't do credit cards so there isn't much online shopping I can really do... I think I still have my oldests old witch costume that i can use for the youngest but the oldest is outta luck right this moment lol!!

You could purchase Visa gift cards from IGA and you can use them to purchase things online. They carry them in different denominations.
